Austin Horng-En Wang (Political Science) has published the chapter "The DPP in Opposition" in the book Dynamics of Democracy in Taiwan: The Ma Ying-jeou Years edited by Kharis Templeman, Yun-han Chu, and Larry Diamond. The chapter focuses on how DPP, the major opposition party in Taiwan during 2008-2016, gradually presidentialized itself. It also discusses its reform on DPP's media department and how it experimented during the campaign.
