Asma Awan, program manager, and Manoj Sharma, professor and chair, (both Social and Behavioral Health) presented a paper at the Aging & Social Change: Thirteenth Interdisciplinary Conference, on Sept. 15, 2023, at Marche Polytechnic University, Ancona, Italy.
The paper was titled, “Prevalence of correlates of the multi-theory model of behavioral change (MTM) for effective behavior change interventions for mental health among the rural elderly populations." The presentation was based on the multi-theory of behavioral change for which Sharma is the theorist and subject matter expert and Awan conceived and worked on the project.
