Arthur D. Soto-Vásquez (Journalism and Media Studies) with co-authors Gabriela Perdomo Páez (Mount Royal University), Stacey Copeland (University of Groningen) and Kim Fox (The American University in Cairo) recently published "Decolonial Methods in Podcast Production Studies: Reflections From Practice-Led Research" in Emerging Media. In the article, we discuss methods of inquiry that take full advantage of podcasting as an aural medium such as feminist-inspired embodied listening, intentional listening and audio coding while using qualitative data analysis software, and intrinsically inclusive methodologies.
