Ann Vuong (Epidemiology & Biostatistics) is a co-investigator on the project "Impact of Pre- and Postnatal Chemical Mixture Exposures on Child Neurobehavior and Neuroimaging," which is receiving a five-year grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences for $3,187,411.
The project will investigate mixtures of more than 60 chemicals and child neurobehavior and brain imaging in two birth cohorts: Cincinnati-based HOME Study and Canada-based MIREC.
The primary institute receiving the award is the University of Pennsylvania. Other collaborating institutions include UNLV, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Brown University, Simon Fraser University, and the University of Cincinnati.
