Amy Tureen and Starr Hoffman (Libraries) are co-authors on an article, "Virtual Cohorts: Peer Support and Problem-solving at a Distance," published in College & Research Libraries News. The article was co-authored with Erick Lemon, Medical University of South Carolina Libraries; Joyce Martin, Arizona State University Library; Mindy Thuna, University of Toronto Libraries; and Willie Miller, IUPUI University Library.
The authors of the article, library leaders from across the United States and Canada, met at the Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians in summer 2018, and formed a virtual cohort for peer leader support. The article includes details about how the cohort has been transformative in approaching leadership challenges at each institution.
