Amber Sewell (Libraries) gave a presentation entitled "Micro & macro: Game-based learning at UNLV Libraries," a panel presentation for the Library Instruction Round Table's President's Program at the American Libraries Association annual conference at the end of June. This presentation covered two of Amber's efforts to incorporate game-based learning into classrooms here at UNLV: working with the COLA 100E coordinator to design a game for the first-year seminar about information needs, sources, and authority, in addition to her work hosting a game-based learning workshop through the Faculty Center.
