Amanda Belarmino (Hospitality) and her co-author have published an article entitled "Can peer-to-peer accommodations act as lodging a stepping-stone for mega-events?" in Tourism Management Perspectives.

This article examines the role of peer-to-peer accommodations like Airbnb in helping mid-sized cities host mega-events by examining the behavioral intentions and willingness-to-pay for convention visitors.
