Abena Gyawu Owusu-Ansah, Susan Dakwa, Laurencia Bonsu, Blessing Imade, and Manoj Sharma (all Social and Behavioral Health) presented a paper titled, "Assessing mindfulness meditation interventions on improved sleep among older adults: A scoping review" at the 2024 Nevada Public Health Association Annual Conference held virtually on April 17, 2024. The presentation highlighted the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation interventions as a recommendation for improving sleep in older adults and a need to gain insight into the long-term effects and mechanisms supporting mindfulness meditation therapies and their efficacy in improving sleep quality in older adults. Owusu-Ansah, Dakwa, Bonsu, and Imade are graduate students.
