Abegail Reyes (Health Sciences Advising Center) wrote the state’s first Healthcare Associated Infection report, which has been published on the state of Nevada’s website. The report compares health care associated infection data from 30 Nevada hospitals during 2014 to the United States during the same year, and to the reduction targets set during 2013 by the U.S. department of health and human services.
