This program offers a more affordable and efficient way to ultimately earn a master’s degree in three years after completing your associate degree. A master’s degree provides greater potential for promotion and compensation. While an associate’s or bachelor’s degree provide a solid foundation, a master’s degree will help you develop knowledge and skills to prepare for leadership roles in the IT field. It will also help expand your strategic thinking, big-picture abilities, and knowledge of management.
This program is designed so that students that have completed an associate degree can transfer from CSN to UNLV and immediately start working on the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Information Management. Students would begin their UNLV studies as juniors, beginning with core business classes and followed by major courses during the subsequent year. During this time, students can enter the bridge program, and begin to take graduate courses while an undergraduate student. Given a successful application into the graduate program, students can earn their Master of Science in Management Information Systems one year after completing the B.S.B.A. in Information Management program.
