Description
This course explores science as a way of knowing (epistemology) and the relationship between language, symbols, and physical reality. Students will gain an understanding of modern and historical scientific controversies, learn about perspectives on the relationship between science and rhetoric over time, and practice producing rhetorically-grounded science communication. Minimum grade of C- in either COM 211 or [COM 101 and 102 and 216].
