Description

Explores the patient care, pharmacology, radiation safety, image acquisition, equipment, devices, and procedural considerations to the performance of advanced Vascular Interventional radiographic procedures. Addresses the physical assessment of the patient, monitoring, evaluation of access sites, inventory, and supplies used in the Vascular Interventional lab. Prerequisite: Must be certified by the ARRT in Radiography. Department consent required.
