Description

Introduction to law and the court system; introduction to torts and criminal law; contracts and sales; real and personal property. May not earn duplicate credit in BLW 273 and ACC 473 or BLW 474 and ACC 473.This course is crosslisted with ACC 673. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.

This is an asynchronous web class with occasional on or off campus meetings. See the class schedule for specific meeting dates and times.In addition to materials listed at the bookstore, this course may require the use of an electronic device (e.g., desktop or laptop computer) that includes a web camera, microphone; and is compatible with Lockdown Browser & Respondus Monitor Software. (Chromebooks do NOT meet this requirement.) *During online exams / quizzes students may be required to provide a video of their exam environment. Only the room where the exam is taken needs to be recorded. If students do not wish to provide a video of their personal residence, they may take online exams / quizzes at an alternate location. For example, in a UNLV computer lab, or a public library or other public facility that provides internet access, and meets testing requirements.* Students who have not submitted immunization records and students who have accepted online-only agreements are not eligible to enroll in classes with any in-person requirements.This course will be taught concurrently with graduate course ACC 673.The class will meet in person during the first week only. That attendance is mandatory, and failure to attend the single in person session can result in removal from the course
