Description

Introduction to relational database concepts, and all issues related to the design and implementation of relational database systems. Emphases include entity relationships modeling, normalization, and structured query language (SQL). Students apply technical concepts through implementation of a database project.

In addition to the materials listed on the bookstore webpage, this course requires a Mac or PC computer, a webcam, a microphone, and Internet connection for successfully completing this class. The webcam and microphone may be built into your computer or may be an external camera and microphone. The course may also use the LockDown Browser with Monitor for online exams. While there is no cost to you to use the software, you are required to have a webcam. Chromebooks are not compatible for this class.
