My Rebel Voice Poster Campaign
The My Rebel Voice Poster Campaign was created to highlight the UNLV Rebel voice, experience, and university perspective. In partnership with the College of Fine Arts and the Art Department, the Intersection assists in providing the UNLV community with a safe and inclusive academic forum to speak out on what has defined their Rebel student experience and what defines their Rebel student voice. Participants are asked to fill out a short survey regarding their Rebel experiences, and UNLV art students then take professional headshots. These photos and surveys have been displayed at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art and at the Intersection.
3 x 3 Mini Pop-Up Resource Fair
Throughout the school year, the 3 x 3 Mini Pop-Up Resource Fair connects UNLV students with campus and community resources when the unexpected happens and hope to connect students with needed resources so that their worst case scenario is manageable. The resource fair highlights both campus departments and community agencies and has been a great success.
TiPs Mentoring Program
In fall 2018, the Intersection Partners (TiPS) Mentorship Program was created to provide first-year students with a supportive relationship with a peer mentor who is focused on promoting the overall success of the student. As one of the Intersection’s keystone programs, the TiPs program is designed to support first-year students in their social, personal, and academic transition to UNLV.
