Please join the Graduate College on Thursday, May 13, 2021 for our virtual UNLV Doctoral Hooding Reception & Ceremony celebrating the university's spring doctoral graduates.

The path to earning a doctoral degree is not an easy one. Please help us celebrate these inspiring individuals who went down this path and reached academia's pinnacle!

The Doctoral Hooding Reception will be hosted on Remo, a virtual event platform that allows guests to join tables and interact with small groups of people at a time.

University Commencement Ceremonies

UNLV will host in-person commencement ceremonies for all 2020 and Spring 2021 graduates from May 13-15. Note that master's, specialist, and doctoral graduates may choose to walk across the stage at their assigned UNLV in-person commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 13 at 8 a.m. at Sam Boyd Stadium. Doctoral graduates will not be hooded at the in-person commencement ceremonies. They will be hooded virtually only during our May 13 virtual Doctoral Hooding Ceremony. Learn more about UNLV's in-person commencement ceremonies.
