Description

This webinar offers K-12 educators valuable insights into Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) histories and lived experiences. Learn why understanding AAPI history is crucial for a more inclusive and accurate portrayal of our nation's past, present, and future. Exploring the experiences of AAPI communities is crucial for enriching curriculum and fostering inclusive learning environments. By delving into the diverse range of AAPI experiences that are often omitted from textbooks, educators can expand their curriculum and cultural awareness. This webinar encourages critical examination of American history, challenging monolithic views, and promoting cultural sensitivity. Participating educators will gain tools to integrate AAPI perspectives into lessons, support AAPI students more effectively, and develop a strong sense of connection to the AAPI population.

Admission is free and CEUs are available for those attending the live event. A recording of the event will be available online.
