Celebrate the Year of the Snake at the 2025 UNLV Lunar New Year Concert, a spectacular evening of music, culture, and artistry!

The third annual Lunar New Year Concert at UNLV, directed by Tianxi Wen, a doctoral candidate in orchestral conducting, features the UNLV World Music Chamber Ensemble in collaboration with talented community artists. The UNLV World Music Chamber Ensemble is a dynamic performance group that embraces multiculturalism, diversity, and collaboration. This co-creative ensemble explores the fusion of music, dance, kung fu, and art from both Eastern and Western traditions. By celebrating various cultural practices, the group aims to showcase the power of diverse coexistence. Through intentional intersections between different traditions, the ensemble emphasizes expressivity and inclusion, making it a multidisciplinary experience highlighting the richness of global artistic heritage.
