Description
The UNLV division of Jazz and Commercial Music begins its 2024-2025 concert season with a CD Release Concert for the new album Let the Good Times Roll. The concert features selections the album and special guests Clint Holmes, Naomi Mauro, Laura Taylor, and Adam Schroeder. The group's previous Album, Dreamlike, won several Downbeat Student Music Awards and was submitted for Grammy consideration. The division has received 50 Downbeat Student Music Awards since 2010. Faculty member Adam Schroeder released a new album of his own this year: CT! Adam Schroeder and Mark Masters Celebrate Clark Terry. Schroeder was also recognized this year by Downbeat as a Rising Star.
