Speaker: Jennifer Rodgers, Ph.D., Director of Academic Programs, University of Southern California Shoah Foundation
This lecture examines the history of the International Tracing Services, now known as the Arolsen Archives, which is the world’s largest centralized collection of documents on victims of the Holocaust. Rodgers explores the role that the Tracing Services and its archiving played in post-World War II humanitarian operations in reinforcing Cold War borders and in forging our understanding and memorializing the Holocaust.
