Description
UNLV will undergo a critical site visit from our accrediting body, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) from April 2-4, 2025. Staff (i.e., classified employees) are invited to attend the staff forum.
Broad staff participation is essential to this comprehensive visit, allowing staff to speak directly with our university accreditation evaluators in relation to the NWCCU standards that the university must meet. These forums offer staff a chance to share their experiences, highlight what they believe the university excels at, raise any concerns, and present suggestions directly to accreditation teams. This process helps staff understand the accreditation process, institutional goals, and how their feedback contributes to improvements, fostering a sense of transparency and trust between staff and the institution.
