Important Notes
- Please ensure that you have an up-to-date version of the Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word application you will be using.
- If you are using a UNLV-issued computer, that probably will be Office or Word 2019 or 2021.
- If you are using a personal, non-work computer, that should be Microsoft/Word 365. Versions of Office or Word 2013/2015 or earlier are not useful for this training; please plan accordingly.
- Please visit UNLV's Microsoft Office page for next steps as applicable.
- A supplied DOCX attachment will be used for your hands-on work during the second session.
- During this second session, we'll ask you to go back and forth between your Microsoft Word document and the course content in WebCampus.
- If you plan to upload PDFs either to classes you supervise/teach or for non-academic purposes for a departmental, college or UNLV project website, please ensure that you have the full paid Adobe Acrobat Pro DC if you have a barcoded UNLV computer before the training.
- Please visit UNLV's page for this Acrobat software. The free Adobe Reader will not suffice.
- If you have the full and updated Adobe Creative Cloud, Acrobat is part of the collection. Please ensure that it is up-to-date prior to the training.
