Description
The Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art is proud to present P0RTAL, a new project by Las Vegas design duo Dream Team Time Machine. Dream Team’s co-founders Drew Dwyer and Francis Santos bring together different elements of contemporary visual design language to energize the viewing space and encourage the community to “reach as high as you can with your imagination.” The project will include specially-designed signage throughout the Donald H. Baepler Xeric Garden and a co-branded limited edition tee.
P0RTAL will be on view in the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art’s outdoor Window Gallery from April 19 – November 23, 2024, with an opening reception from 5 – 8 p.m. on the evening of April 19. All are welcome.
About the Artist
Dream Team Time Machine (DTTM) serves as a multidisciplinary studio brand ranging from in-house products to creative services. Francis Santos has a background in Photography and Design and has been practicing since 2010. Drew Dwyer graduated from UNLV with a BFA in Graphic Design and Sculpture and has been working in design since 2013. They’ve been happy to collaborate on projects within the local community as well as notable brands such as Red Bull, Formula 1, and NBA G League Ignite. Their hope is to be a resource for artists/designers, new and old, experienced versus non-; and to be a reminder to always experiment with your imagination.
