Join the UNLV Comadres on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 4 - 6 p.m. in the SDP Lounge on the first floor of the Student Union for an exciting evening as we launch the Libros y Comadres Book Club! This book club launch kicks off our month of events centered around Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodríguez’s new book, Tías and Primas: On Knowing and Loving the Women Who Raised Us.
Participants who RSVP to join the book club and attend the Book Launch will receive a complimentary copy of the book. Copies are limited, however, and will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. We look forward to exploring Tías and Primas with you and celebrating the powerful stories of the women who shape our lives.
Admission Information
This event is open to current UNLV undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff, but space is limited, so you must RSVP to attend.
