Academic posters are a way to present your research to a wider audience. This workshop will give participants the foundational knowledge for creating a poster which both communicates research effectively and is visually appealing. This workshop will help students prepare for presenting research posters at professional conferences and this year’s annual Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) Research Forum. 

By participating in this workshop, students will:

• Enhance understanding of the purposes and challenges associated with poster design.
• Discover the qualities of successful posters and strategies for writing concise and effective content.
• Learn how to design a visually appealing poster in order to effectively display and promote their research.
