Description

Could you benefit from receiving expert feedback on your job talk, chalk talk, or teaching demonstration? Would you like to test out your talk to ease your nerves and feel better equipped before you present in a real interview for an academic job?

We welcome Graduate Students to join us and practice live with experienced faculty who have served on hiring committees. Come prepared to practice your talk(s) and receive feedback on how you can make it shine for your next academic job interview.

Our faculty volunteers represent different disciplines as outlined in this sign-up sheet. Please carefully review the faculty member's discipline specialty and sign up with someone who specializes in a discipline that aligns with your own. You can also select whether you would like to practice a job talk or a teaching demonstration. Please provide all requested details on the sign-up sheet.

Interested graduate students should sign up to reserve a time slot. Please note that signing up is a commitment to attend the session, and we will add you to calendar invitations as you sign up. All sessions will be held at the Graduate College in the University Gateway Building.
