Join us in celebrating the achievements of the 2024-2025 Grad Rebel Advantage cohort! The Grad Rebel Advantage Commencement event will take place on Monday, April 28, from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Student Union Ballrooms B & C.

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast while we recognize the dedication of our undergraduate student mentees and graduate student mentors. The event will feature live presentations from the winners of the 3-Minute Grad School Pitch competition and a keynote address from Yvette Martinez-Vu, Ph.D., founder of Grad School Femtoring.

Check-in is open from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Grad Rebel Advantage participants are invited to arrive early to take full advantage of partner resources, snap a free professional portrait, and enjoy a delicious complimentary breakfast.

About the Keynote

Yvette Martínez-Vu, Ph.D., is a grad school and productivity certified coach, consultant, author, LinkedIn Learning instructor, and host of the award-winning Grad School Femtoring Podcast. She is also the founder of Grad School Femtoring, LLC, where she helps first-gen BIPOC students and professionals navigate academia and their careers with sustainable productivity strategies. Her talk is titled "Embracing Your Power: Navigating Grad School with Strategy, Intention, and Heart."
