This workshop will provide an overview of how to co-develop an evidence-informed health program that incorporates theoretical and empirical evidence and engages community stakeholders in the planning process. We will provide an overview of the six steps of the Intervention Mapping process, and how a trauma-informed approach can enhance the creation of more effective evidence-informed programs within diverse cultural contexts.
Learning Objectives:
1. Review the six steps of the Intervention Mapping process and their related tasks for effective program planning
2. Describe the guiding principles of a trauma-informed approach to program planning in diverse cultural contexts
3. Discuss applications of evidence-informed program within diverse cultural contexts
