Tired of reading papers about the same three topics? Join Teaching & Learning Librarians Amber Sewell and Chelsea Heinbach as they explain how to build research assignments that tap into students’ natural curiosity, as well as methods for introducing these assignments in a way that will result in engaged students and more unique final submissions.
During the workshop, you will discuss how fostering students’ curiosity can result in better student work, work on research assignment that will encourage students to follow their natural curiosity, and learn how librarians and library resources can support students in these types of assignments.
