A few facts from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence
· On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. This equates to more than 10 million women and men in one year.
· An intimate partner has injured 1 in 7 women and 1 in 25 men.
· 1 in 2 female murder victims and 1 in 13 male murder victims are killed by intimate partners.
· For many years, Nevada consistently ranked 1st in the nation for domestic violence fatalities.
