Description
Experience a dynamic and expressive journey showcasing the versatility and rich tonal qualities of the clarinet through pieces by Carl Nielsen, Luigi Bassi, Louis Spohr, Rostyslav Demchyshyn, and Igor Stravinsky. Vitalii is joined by collaborative pianist Katie Leung and a fellow Masters student Kyle Brunell on the snare drum.
Join us for an evening of highly dramatic and virtuosic clarinet works, that explore the clarinet’s full emotional and technical range, including lyrical passages, aggressive outbursts, and extreme dynamic contrasts.
Parking: Attendees are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage. Parking is free after 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; Fridays after 1 p.m.; and all day Saturdays and Sundays. During these times, visitors may park in any staff, student, or visitor space free of charge. Please observe handicapped/disabled, reserved, resident, and emergency parking restrictions at all times.
