The UNLV Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) is hosting its 2024 Outlook event at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, attracting nearly 300 business, community, and elected leaders.

Sponsored by PNC Bank, the event provides the latest economic forecasts and strategies for Southern Nevada's growth. Experts are highlighting the impact of Clark County’s projected population increase to over 3 million by 2042 on housing, infrastructure, and employment, while emphasizing economic diversification strategies.

Keynote speaker Renu Khator, Chancellor and President of the University of Houston, will discuss the role of higher education in regional development. The event also features a panel discussion on global and local economic trends, moderated by Amber Renee Dixon from Vegas PBS.
