Description

Join Alternative Breaks in discussing the crucial role that harm reduction plays within social justice. Harm reduction is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that prioritizes minimizing the negative consequences associated with high-risk behaviors, rather than simply demanding abstinence. We will discuss harm reduction strategies that can be used both personally and when working with the community.

After a short presentation, attendees will be trained on how to administer Narcan/Narloxone in response to an opioid overdose.

Free lunch, harm reduction supplies, and conversation provided.
