Members of the UNLV community were invited to attend a summit to discuss how Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute are reframing public policy issues in Nevada. Attendees joined us to learn more about our ongoing research efforts and publications. Attendees also planned to share their ideas with us and explore new avenues for collaboration with the Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute staff.

UNLV President Neal J. Smatresk offered special remarks and was joined by special guests, including:

• Brian Greenspun, Greenspun Media, Las Vegas
• Lindy Schumacher, CEO, Fulfillment Fund, Las Vegas & Dream Fund UCLA, Los Angeles

Robert Lang, director of both The Lincy Institute and Brookings Mountain West, offered his insights on bringing reform to Nevada’s public policy.

Scholars from both programs reported on their research initiatives and collaborative efforts.
