The UNLV Art Department BFA class of 2020-21 has produced an excellent body of work in the face of one of the most challenging years ever in academia. Critiques and classes were conducted virtually, students worked remotely, and these are remarkable students by any measure pre- or post-covid. Students experimented with new materials, subject matter, and techniques. Some saw their work transformed through new large scale mural works, while others honed their technical and conceptual skills on new and challenging subject matter. They each have bright futures as members of the creative class in Las Vegas and beyond.
