2025 UNLV Powwow for the Planet

Native UNLV and the Las Vegas urban Indigenous community are collaborating to present the 4th annual Powwow for the Planet. This event aims to champion cultural preservation and leadership development amongst Native youth, advocacy for environmental justice and the protection of Indigenous sacred places in Nevada.
Scheduled for Saturday, April 12 (12 p.m.- 10 p.m.), and Sunday, April 13 (12 p.m.-6 p.m.), the two-day event will be hosted at UNLV. It will showcase traditional powwow dancing, drumming, authentic Native arts and craft vendors and food vendors.
Admission Information
This event is open for all to join. Tickets can be purchased online or onsite. Fees are as follows:
$7 per day
$10 for a two day pass
4 yrs and under are free
UNLV parking is free on weekends.
Please note: all vendors must be pre-registered and approved by the Powwow committee. Vendors should email pwftp2025@gmail.com with any inquiries.
