Description

The Donna Beam Gallery presents the 2025 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition. This exhibition continues a long-established feature of the art department and gallery, a juried student art exhibition. There has been a juried student exhibition for almost as long as there has been an art department.  The exhibition is open to all undergraduate BA students to enter. There is not a specific theme to address other than offering their most accomplished work. You’ll see a broad range of artwork in various media including painting, drawing, prints, photography, installation, and sculpture, and from whimsical, to thought-provoking to deeply personal works.

Students were invited to submit their work for consideration for the show, which was adjudicated by a third-party juror, Sam Davis, UNLV MFA, ‘06. Sam has worked as a Graphic Artist for WSRE-TV in Pensacola, as a studio assistant for Jerry Uelsmann and Maggie Taylor. He served for six years as full-time faculty/Instructor of Photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California and for three years as Full-time Visiting Faculty at Ringling College of Art and Design. While not teaching he actively exhibits artwork across the United States and abroad. Sam is currently serving as Associate Professor of Photography at Southern Utah University.
