Empowering Health: The Vital Role of Physical Therapists in Combating the Non-Communicable Diseases

Dr. Marilyn Moffat is a recognized leader in the United States and internationally, she is a practitioner, a teacher, a consultant, a leader, and an author. She is past President of both the American Physical Therapy Association and the World Federation for Physical Therapy, and author of the four-book series Musculoskeletal Essentials, Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Essentials, Neuromuscular Essentials, and Integumentary Essentials for physical therapy clinicians and students. She has developed various national and global initiatives to promote physical therapists as exercise experts for aging adults and patients with cardiovascular disease.
