Entertainment engineering is an engineering discipline that creates the highly technical designs that the entertainment industry has come to demand. Entertainment engineering involves the application of traditional engineering disciplines including computer, electrical, mechanical and civil engineering to the art of entertainment. The entertainment engineering design program is a joint effort among the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering and College of Fine Arts, gives students hands-on experience with designing, building, installing, and maintaining the various facilities, equipment, and technologies used in today’s entertainment industry.
Non-EED students may declare a minor through the advising centers of either the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering or the College of Fine Arts.
