About the Competition
In May 2020, after the COVID-19 pandemic had shut down the tourism, hospitality, and entertainment industries, the Ted and Doris Lee Family Foundation, together with the UNLV Lee Business School's Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, launched the Lee Prize for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The $1 million prize was a way to spur innovation that would make it safer for guests to returen to the hospitality and entertainment industries.
