The Barrick Museum of Art and UNLV Galleries offer a variety of opportunities for individuals interested in volunteering. For most volunteer positions the only requirement is an interest in visual arts, a love of learning, and a willingness to make a regular commitment. Applicants with special skills and training may be assigned to areas that require specific knowledge and work experience.

All volunteers will be expected to:

  • Make minimum commitments of time
  • Be reliable in attendance and punctuality
  • Abide by museum policies
  • Attend training, if required
  • Collaborate with staff and other volunteers, accepting supervision and evaluation of your volunteer work
