The NFL Las Vegas Raiders recently announced that the The David Perrico Pop Strings Orchestra, a 19-piece, all-star ensemble conducted by David Perrico (MM in Jazz Performance and Composition, '06), has signed-on for two more years as the Raiders House Band.

Perrico composes custom music arrangements for every game and special performances, including the pre-game show, musical segments throughout the game, special half-time shows, and post-game celebrations. The band consists of four singers, five horns, an all-female six-piece string section, and a four-piece rhythm section. Past performances have featured guest artists such as Sammy Hagar, Dionne Warwick, and Richie McDonald from LoneStar.
