UNLV’s climate action plan, nicknamed the Rebel CAP, is nearing the final stages and the public is invited to provide feedback. Last fall, seven working groups convened to conduct topic-specific research and compile their recommendations for public release. The Rebel CAP working group recommendations are now available online. 

Recommendations are listed by working group:

  • Academics & Research
  • Buildings & Energy
  • Green Procurement & Policies
  • Stewardship & Climate Justice
  • Sustainable Transportation
  • Waste Management
  • Water Resource Management

UNLV stakeholders (faculty, staff, students, and community members) who wish to respond to the working groups' recommendations are encouraged to fill out the Rebel CAP Feedback Survey.

The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and responses may be submitted per working group topic. Your feedback will be reviewed and considered as the plan is finalized in the upcoming months. The survey closes on March 8.
