Assigned procurement card delegates can now view and edit procurement card verifications in Draft status within the My Procurement Card Transaction Verification report in Workday. This enhancement streamlines the verification process and improves overall efficiency.

Note: Draft PCard transactions refer to those the cardholder has initiated but has not yet submitted for approval. Draft PCard transactions are found in the Purchases App in Workday under the view column and then clicking on Procurement Card Transaction Verifications.

How to Enable Delegation for Verification

To allow your existing delegate to view and edit procurement card verifications, update the delegation settings by following these steps:

  1. In the search bar, type My Delegations or Manage Delegation Settings.
  2. Navigate to the Current Delegations tab and add Verify Procurement Card Transaction under Start On My Behalf for the designated delegate.
  3. Submit the Delegation task.

For further details, refer to the Manage Delegations training guide.

How Delegates Can Verify Transactions

Once delegation is set up, the assigned delegate can access and edit procurement card verifications by:

  1. Switching to the assigned user via Switch Account in the Profile menu (upper right corner next to the Bell icon).
  2. Accessing the Delegation Dashboard, where the My Procurement Card Transaction Verification report is available.
  3. Generating the report by entering parameters such as Date Range and Status (e.g., Draft or In Progress).
  4. Selecting transactions, by clicking the Related Actions icon (the small button with three dots), choosing Actions, and selecting Edit.
