Parking permits for the 2024-2025 academic year are now on sale.  All faculty and staff are required to have a "Staff" permit registered to their account to park their vehicles on campus.

Parking & Transportation Services uses a virtual system that connects license plates to parking permits. Since your license plate is your permit, it is important that the license plate numbers listed for each vehicle attached to your permit are accurate in the parking system. If you have a specialty plate with vertical letters preceding the numbers, be sure to include them.

License plates must be visible from the drive aisle. If you prefer to back your car into a parking space and do not have a front license plate, you must  display a parking sticker on your windshield or rear view mirror hang tag. Parking decals are available at a cost of $5. Contact parking@unlv.edu or 702-895-1300 to purchase a parking decal.

Please see below for information about how to purchase your permit.
