The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) is recognizing National Cybersecurity Awareness Month by hosting virtual presentations featuring experts in the cybersecurity field. Presentations are open to all NSHE faculty and staff. 

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most newsworthy technological advancements in recent memory. This session will cover what makes generative AI different, the benefits and risks, and key risk mitigations. There will also be a Q&A session with Svetlana Sicular, a VP analyst for the technological research and consulting firm Gartner.
