All Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) institutions, including UNLV, will adopt Workday Adaptive Planning as the new planning and budgeting software. Workday Adaptive Planning offers many benefits, including integration with Workday Finance and Human Capital Management (HCM), enabling more efficient processes.

The first phase of implementation is currently underway, with anticipated completion by March 21, 2025. This timeline may change as the project progresses. After a migration period, Anaplan will be discontinued, and all budgets will be completed in Workday Adaptive Planning.

Regular updates, training, resources, and support will be provided throughout the process. Flexibility will be key, as the 2026 budget season will require adjustments during this transition. Currently, budget analysts are focused on providing mid-year adjustments and self-supporting enrollment data to campus.
