The Mail Center has a few updates to share with campus departments.
Digital Mail
The Mail Center now uses Digital Mail, a free service that sends campus departments email notifications that contain images and information about their upcoming mail deliveries.
To ensure a smooth transition, the Mail Center assigned a representative from each mail stop to receive Digital Mail notifications on behalf of their department and determine a process for sharing Digital Mail emails.
Digital Mail is similar to Informed Delivery available through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and provides several benefits including notifications for those working remotely and/or out on leave.
Outgoing Mail Update
Mail instruction cards are now required to be submitted for all outgoing mail pieces per new billing processes and accountability reasons. To create your mail instruction card, please visit the Business Affairs Portal.
