The Workday Assistant chatbot developed by Workday, is designed to help users complete routine tasks, provide prompt responses to inquiries, and enable easier navigation within the Workday platform. Its user-friendly interface transforms interactions with Workday into conversations, enhancing both user experience and productivity. The Workday Assistant is available on both desktop and mobile platforms for your convenience.

What to Expect

When you sign in to Workday, you’ll see a chat icon in the global header of the page (in the upper right corner next to the bell icon). Click on it to initiate a chat window with the Assistant. The Workday Assistant is also accessible through the Search field when the Simplified Search is enabled. 

Workday Assistant Capabilities 

The Workday Assistant functions like most chatbots – you type a phrase or string of words, and it responds with relevant information. Below are some of its suggested capabilities:

  • Human Resources (Find a coworker and view co-worker public information)

  • Profile (Change my contact info and view worker information)
