As we celebrate the holiday season, it's essential to manage Workday MyTask items during time off, particularly for roles that are assigned to only one worker, such as: Manager, Cost Center Manager, Gift Manager, Grant Manager, Program Manager, Project Manager, Unit Manager. Proper delegation ensures smooth workflows and prevents delays during the holiday season.

Here’s what to do:

  • Delegate Tasks: Colleagues taking time off should delegate their Workday MyTask items in advance. Learn more on managing delegations.
  • If Assistance is Needed: If a worker cannot complete a delegation request themselves, their manager or a business manager can submit the request through the Business Affairs Portal.
